'The Wizard' - Enamel, paper and clay on board (Karen Hansen, 2024)

This work began, as a collaboration with Ice Plants, which I took silicone moulds of in my garden and found to my delight - that they looked like roses once cast in clay. Little did I know, that another being was waiting in the wings to make himself known. In the movement of the paper and clay, a wizard appeared, complete with Staff, robes, beard and hat, watching over the succulents.

All Karen's latest works are co-creations with Spirit and Nature Beings, which continue their conversations with the viewer long after they come into physical being.
