Barberry appeared in my life at random: a tree which planted itself along the edges of my boundaries, with thorns - really long spear like ones. I knew it was a message from Nature trying to reach me.

Barberry, spiritually, protects against evil. It is a powerful shrub, often used in protective charms and magic. Barberry also works on inner strength around challenges , I have needed that fortitude and boundary setting this year more than ever
