I witnessed Japanese Honeysuckle and asked,

Hello, my friend. What energy do you offer in this Essence Natura we are co-creating?

Japanese Honeysuckle answered:

You.
I offer you back to yourself.
From all the places you stretch yourself thin, from all the places you hide in the past, from all the experiences that were never truly yours to hold.
You live in too many echoes.
Claim yourself.
I want to help you return.

I said to Honeysuckle:

Thank you. I hear you.
I remember bringing you home to my grandfather when I was five or six years old. He was my main masculine role model, because I did not have a father. I remember picking your last flower and eating it on my way up the path to show him how to do it. I remember feeling like I let him down, and I carried that memory of guilt and inadequacy for years.

It echoed through so many of my adult relationships.
But it was never me letting them down.
It was the men letting me down.
And now you are saying the one I truly let down was myself.

Japanese Honeysuckle replied:

The past belongs in the past.
It has shaped you, yes, and it touched you deeply when you were a beautiful young girl full of light and adventure and connection to the natural world.

You carry so much.
You carry a load that is far too heavy for the child within.
And I will help you set it down.

I have medicine and magic to help you claim the full power of who you are in this present moment. That power does not rely on anyone else’s ideals. It comes from your own heart, your own soul, your own voice, your own love-being.

You are enough.
